We’d been thinking about it for quite some time, but we finally acted and we couldn’t be happier.  Take a look at our new baby!

We tickle it and care for it and listen to it’s every sound and we’re wondering how we could have lived with out it!  You may be wondering where we’ve put it, but it has a happy home in the hall near the entrance.  The only danger is you might fall backwards down the stairs while playing too enthusiastically.  Sorry I can’t post a real picture of it.  My trusty spy-camera from Japan has gone bonkers on me and I haven’t had time to see if it’s fixable or not.  Don’t worry, we’ll find a way to take pictures before the REAL baby news comes along.  Mark your calendars for July 4th.  Our lives will never be the same again.

I'm quite accustomed to your instruments being your "babies," but I'm sure looking forward to one I can count as a grandbaby.

Not that it isn't fun to have a grand-oboe, a grand-harp, a grand-vielle, etc., and now a grand-keyboard, since you don't have room for a grand-piano yet.

Congratulations on both counts!

Ha ha ha. That's a good one.
