Now that I have internet and power I am tired and have too much to write!  In an effort to boost my energy level I'll start with a few pictures of Basel.

Rathouse im Marktplaz (The Town Hall on the Market Square, I hope I got that German right)

A Fountain and a Church (with fuzzy beliefs) I happened upon.

A Medieval gate that drew me near

The cool marquee at (almost) every tram stop that tells you what and which buses are coming next.  Stephan and Anu helped to develope the technology for it.

This large figure's arm moves up and down, but I figured a picture would be better than a movie.  I'm not quite sure what it's there for. . .

Cool, thanks! I find it interesting that the Town Hall is the Rathaus. Perhaps Germans know more about politicians than we do....

It might be interesting to note that Rathaus is pronounced "rat house" though I guess wrath-house or rat-house your comment would still make sense . . .
