He weighed in at 5.450kg (at the top of the curve), has a big head and is right in the middle with length. His eye has cleared up (he just had a little ‘sleep’ that can mean various things with babies) so that’s fine and everything else the doctor checked was “tip top.”
Now for an afternoon with Grossmutti!
That's 11 lbs., 10 oz. 12 pounds [thanks to Stephan for the correction below] for us metrically-challenged folks.
Thank you, Janet, for all the updates. And thank you, Joseph, for allowing her to post them. :)
Hi to Grossmutti!
According to my grams to pounds and ounces converting table 5450 grams is an even 12 pounds.
Sigh. You are right, of course. What is it about me and that calculator? It's really simple to use, and I haven't used it right yet! You must have noticed when you used it that I had already put in the right number...but then read the wrong one.
It's a really nice calculator; I don't know why I can't get it. Twelve pounds it is.
Let me add that I don't believe the length. That is, I don't believe he's only mid-range. He sure looked long to me when I left.
