Yesterday I biked to MPark and signed up for internet (though it won’t start until the 24th).  I thought the Migros phones seemed decent enough and I just wanted to get it over with so I bought a cell phone, too.  Can you imagine: store brand mobiles at the grocery store!  So far it seems to work just fine.  The phone cost 49 Francs, but that includes 15 francs talk time and a promotion of 30 more over two months.  The way I see it, that’s 4 Francs for a prepaid phone with enough minutes to last a good while.  Most of you won’t need the number, but it’s on my contact page if you want it.

Today Veronika showed me the bike shop where they employ the handicapped.  The checked out and fixed up the bike I’m borrowing from Valda for 37 Francs and were extremely friendly and helpful.  Now I have lights so I can bike at night; the tires are full (I couldn’t get it good enough with the hand pump); the breaks strongers, and everything is oiled.  That makes me happy!  It was much easier to bike home, too.  Imagine that.

I’m not sure what’s up with my left shoulder, but though the Egocue exercises help, soon afterwards it starts hurting again.  I haven’t been playing vielle, so it can’t be that!  I’m not worried yet, but I wish I knew what was causing it.  If it’s the computer, maybe I shouldn’t have signed up for high speed . . .
