Just a few things I identify with in some way.

"Everyone says I am lucky,” he added. “But every coin has two faces.”" -  Andrea Mosconi (the man with the job of playing three Stradivari violins each morning to keep them in shape)

Uh, what's the downside? Having to play three violins every morning? Hm, I guess I can understand. Maybe like being cursed to have chocolate for breakfast every day. But still.

I know. The same goes for me. I have nothing to complain about. My life is joy, and yet. There's that other side of the coin. If I knew how to abide in Christ at all times would there not be that other side of the coin? Well, the quote just struck me.

You know, it could be a Shadowlands thing, mightn't it? Is there any joy down here that doesn't have two faces? (Or, maybe more importantly, any pain that doesn't have its other face on the Other Side...)
