Here's a link to a crazy story about Toilet Cleaning Day in Japan at my friend's Jr. high school. Besides the 80min individual attention to one urinal, festivities included many meetings and speeches complete with TV cameras and a speech from the mayor. Check it out.

Unbelievable. I'll probably think of Mike every time I clean the bathroom now. Note that hidden in the middle of his story is the modest comment that he had just run up to the top of Mt. Fuji the day before!
