Here's a link to a crazy story about Toilet Cleaning Day in Japan at my friend's Jr. high school. Besides the 80min individual attention to one urinal, festivities included many meetings and speeches complete with TV cameras and a speech from the mayor. Check it out.
The purpose for this post is mainly to experiment with adding pictures to my blog and mostly so I can procrastinate on work I don't want to do. My days in Florida have been passing pleasantly by for the most part: studying German, practicing, running, cleaning, studying German, etc. I played my first gig in 1 1/2 years last Sunday at Winter Park's First United Methodist Church. The Christmas Cantata was less that inspiring, but it was great fun to play with an orchestra (though small) again. I didn't stress nearly as much as I usually do about being prepared and having reeds etc, and it went fine. (More)
